Terry offers a wide variety of programs throughout the year to maximize your ability to participate in an international experience. With locations from Chile to South Korea, there’s an option for every student—including new programs like Tanzania and Spain-Morocco. 
 
Our faculty-led study away programs are designed for undergraduate business majors: 
- Gain unique insight into the risks and rewards of international business
- Engage with diverse people and cultures
- Acquire a global mindset and soft skills employers want
- Earn credit toward the BBA and satisfy experiential learning requirements 
 
Our semester-long exchange programs provide greater immersive experiences to fortify global competencies. Exchange programs allow you to study business, language, and culture in some of the top institutions and cities around the world.
 

The “Passport Terry” scholarship program is a single application to multiple need-based travel funds. These scholarships are designed to make study away, exchange, and internship programs accessible to every Terry student.

  • Business in Europe

    The "Business in Europe" program is a faculty-led study abroad (3-4 weeks) to multiple cities in Europe. Students will learn about the opportunities and challenges of doing business in/with the EU and Euro Zone through company visits and presentations. We will discuss and analyze current issues in a 9-day seminar with local students of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). We will experience the unique cultures, cuisines, and landscapes of these historic cities through expert-guided tours and activities. Orientation sessions for this program will be held during the Spring semester preceding the program.
  • Business in South Korea + Internship

    The "Business in South Korea + Internship" program is part faculty-led study abroad and part business internship. Students will visit companies and tour cultural sites during the faculty-led program, giving them unique insights and preparation for the practical experience that follows. South Korea is an important business market and trade partner to the U.S., and business students need to understand the key issues and trends for business there. There is no language requirement, but participants should have an interest in Asian culture and markets to enjoy this immersive program.
  • Business in Chile + Internship

    The "Business in Chile + Internship" program is part faculty-led study abroad and part business internship. Students will visit companies and tour cultural sites during the faculty-led program, giving them unique insights and preparation for the practical experience that follows. Chile is an important business market and trade partner to the U.S., and business students need to understand the key issues and trends in business there. There is no language requirement, but participants should have an interest in Latin American culture and markets to enjoy this immersive program.
  • Global Georgia Program

    This maymester program examines the legal, financial, cultural and demographic conditions for companies conducting international business in Georgia, with a particular focus on logistics and supply chain. Students will visit the Capitol, companies, and non-profit organizations in select cities that may include the US Commercial Service and EXIM Bank, US Small Business Association’s International Division, World Trade Center, Savannah Port Authority, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport to name a few.
