About Devyn Bennett:
In May 2025, I participated in the University of Georgia’s SPIA a Firenze Maymester Study Abroad Program in Italy. Based primarily in Florence, I had the opportunity to travel throughout Italy, including visits to Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Venice, and other cities.
I am a Political Science and International Affairs major with certificates in Personal and Organizational Leadership and Global Studies. During my study abroad experience in Italy, I participated in classes, visited cultural and historical sites, and took part in hands-on experiences that gave me a deeper understanding of Italian culture, history, and politics. Coming from a small town in Georgia with limited international travel experience, studying abroad pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me become more independent, confident, and open-minded. This unforgettable experience allowed me to grow both academically and personally while exploring a new part of the world and gaining a broader global perspective.

About Mallory Bustle:
Hi! I'm Mallory Bustle, a fourth-year Psychology major and Spanish minor. During my time at UGA, I studied abroad at the University of Liverpool in Fall 2024 and participated in the Spanish Language and Culture Maymester in Costa Rica. One of the highlights of my experiences was living with a host family and speaking Spanish every day, which greatly strengthened my language skills and confidence. As a Junior Advisor, I'm happy to answer questions, share my experiences, and help students find the Study Away opportunity that's right for them!
