Devyn Bennett

Peer-to-peer advising:

  • Wed 12:00pm – 3:00 pm > MLC next to Jittery Joe's

About Devyn Bennett:

In May 2025, I participated in the University of Georgia’s SPIA a Firenze Maymester Study Abroad Program in Italy. Based primarily in Florence, I had the opportunity to travel throughout Italy, including visits to Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Venice, and other cities.

I am a Political Science and International Affairs major with certificates in Personal and Organizational Leadership and Global Studies. During my study abroad experience in Italy, I participated in classes, visited cultural and historical sites, and took part in hands-on experiences that gave me a deeper understanding of Italian culture, history, and politics. Coming from a small town in Georgia with limited international travel experience, studying abroad pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me become more independent, confident, and open-minded. This unforgettable experience allowed me to grow both academically and personally while exploring a new part of the world and gaining a broader global perspective.
